Actions movies seem quite wrong without a high speed car chase and nasty a$$ cars / bikes. Although Hollywood has left a deep impact on our lives, the cars drove pleasingly into our hearts.
There have been plenty of movies that were based completely on cars or bikes, but somehow they had a little monotony in them. The inclusion of action with the right amount of cars and stunts is what constitutes a good movie (by stunts, I most certainly do NOT mean Rohit Shetty stunts)
One movie that had the right concoction of action, amusement and a$$ kicking cars was the blockbuster movie, Expendables. The movie featured a potpourri of action heroes who made us jump out of our seats or beds (for those watch online)
Without further ado, I am going to take you on the expendable ride and touch upon a few of the most appealing and attractive rides used in the movie.
Antonov AN- 26
Presenting the ruler of the skies, this massive mean looking action on wings had nestled in the third expendable movies. The Anotonov AN-26 is a twin-engine turboprop military transport aircraft that were designed and produced in the USSR from 1969 to 1985. This shark headed plane looked mighty impressive in the movie.
Grumman HU-16 Albatross:
The gigantic twin radial engine mated on this amphibious flying boat is mostly seen commandeered by Stallone himself. This flying boat was utilized by the U.S. Navy as well as the U.S. Coast Guard mainly for search and rescue operations. The Grumman transported the mercenary action team and was also spotted when Jason Statham and Stallone go disguised as Global Wildlife Conversationalists.
1955 Ford F-100
The Ford F-100 made its debut in the expendable movie (can’t forget the sad part when this beauty was heartlessly fired at whilst protecting Jet li and Stallone, seriously how did they survive from the bullets raining on the ride?)
An interesting fact about the F-100 used in The Expendables is that, this car was a custom built by West Coast Customs Street Customs that built 3 customized matte black 1955 Ford F 100’s. One of them lost its life in the crash scene, the second was used in the green screen and the third made its temporary visit into Slvyster Stallone’s garage, and was later auctioned by Barrett Jackson in Arizona. The car was sold for $ 1,32,000.
The custom truck had Ford’s 347 cid Edelbrock engine, B&M equippied AOD transmission, Gibson Exhaust, Heidts Mustang II front suspension and Heidts 4-link kit with ford’s 9 inch axle in the rear, Gennie shifter commander shifter, Wilwood brakes, Kinetik battery as well as a vintage air system.
The winner of the truck received an autographed photo of Stallone along with an interesting feature; the truck had a hidden compartment to carry the weapons used in the movie.
Ducati Desmosedici RR
Watching Jason Statham bring his girlfriend to the basketball court to kick some butts and to end the fight sequence with a ruptured basket ball (and a keynote to deflate the enemy’s [email protected]!!) just couldn’t get better with Jason firing up the bike’s engine and whizzing away to glory.
The Ducati Desmosedici RR that was featured in the Expendables was a limited production (street-legal) version of the Desmosedici Moto GP race bike. Ducati had produced 1500 Desmosedici models for purchase and this bike made its debut at the 2006 Italian Moto GP event. This Bike had a 989 cc Desmodromic V4 Engine that produced 197.3 HP at 13,800 RPM and rode its way to 190.78 Mph. The bike came with a price tag of $ 75,000.
If you’ve seen one; you might love em all. The choppers used in the Expendables movie were Stallone’s personal selection. The bikes were chosen from three sources, Bourget’s Bike Works, Easy Riders Show as well as the Cycle Source Chopper Show. These heavily modified beasts were specially designed to create awe. All the custom bikes in the movie were priced upwards of $ 90,000 and grumbled like everybody’s business.
Land Rover Defender 110:
Defending its pride and defeating the enemy, the Rover Defender 110 was shown breaking into walls and battling with fury. The British four wheel drive off road utility vehicle was modified by the expendables team from a 4×4 to 6×6. This vehicle played a crucial role in Expendables 2. This vehicle was also used in James Bond Skyfall movie.
Haval H8 SUV:
The latest expendables (Exp3) had a particular shot where the Haval brand name was flaunted and the camera slowly portrayed the side profile and the front view of the SUV (at first, it looked like a Porsche SUV)
A fun fact about this SUV is that, this is the first Chinese car that was showcased in an American movie. The 2.0 liter four cylinder SUV. Unfortunately, this car carries a disastrous profile with it. In reality, the Haval H8 turned out to be a blunder for Great Wall Motors because of the delay in releasing the tucks. This may have been a good strategy to showcase the vehicle, let’s hope it works.

Ever since Cadillac Escalade was introduced to the United States 2002, it gained a noteworthy reputation as one of the most modishly designed luxury SUV’s on the market. The vivacious looking SUV embraced the SUV buyers with a luxury price tag of $ 63,000*.
Over the past 14 years, Escalade has received various accolades and rewards. Let’s take a sneak peek at the brand’s history and look at how the escalade cruised through luxury lane.
History: (1999- present)
It started in the year 1999 when the first generation Escalades were assembled at the Arlington plant at Texas (US) the layout of the assembled 5-door Escalade SUV’s consisted of a Front engine and a four wheel drive with a 5.7 L (L31) V8 gasoline engine with a 4 speed (4L60-E) Auto transmission. An interesting fact about the Escalade according to the Highway Loss Data Institute is that the Cadillac Escalade is the second most stolen vehicle in the U.S. (Are you thinking what I’m thinking ;))
The second-generation escalades ruled from 2002 till 2006 and were assembled at Mexico, Guanajuato (Silao Assembly) Russia Kaliningrad (Avtotor) and at the Arlington Assembly plant in Texas.
This time the 5 door SYV and the 4-door Sport Utility trucks were launched with FR (Front-engine, Rear wheel drive) and F4 (Front engine and four wheel drive)
5.3 L (LM7) V8 and 6.0 L (LQ9) V8 gasoline engines with 4-speed (4L65-E) auto transmission with a wheelbase of 116 inches and 130 inches for the ESV and EXT variants powered the vehicles. The new models had a new and revised Chassis. The four wheel versions had the “StabiliTrak” feature (electronic stability control system) and the vehicles had power adjustable pedals, satellite radio, second-row bucket seats as well as a tire pressure monitoringsystem, During 2006 the platinum edition of the Escalade was introduced that was priced around $ 71,000. It had a grand touch of luxurious features such as chrome wheels, lowered stance, heated and cooled seats, heated and cooled interiors as well as moon roof and the classiest interiors. The customers are quite upset and the dealerships have put a stop to taking pre-orders. Customers who have placed orders in Feb 2014 are still waiting for their luxury SUV’s to arrive. India has only a few available cruiser bikes that fit into the budget / mid budget segment. The cruiser bike performs really well on smooth roads (Yes, India has a few smooth roads, so cruise and find outJ)The Cruiser might get a little challenging to steer at sharp turns and changing gears on this ride can get a little difficult during challenging conditions. Here is a list of some of the Holly wood hunks, Romeo’s and of course, a few lucky folks who have some of the best rides on the planet residing in their garage.
Known for physique, his action movies and of course his driving, Jason Statham is probably one of the most sophisticated and “non controversial” actor.
We’ve loved his performance in Lock Stock and Two smoking Barrels, Italian Job, Expendables, Crank but out of all the movies made, the Transporter was by-far his best. Being a model for FCUK, a swimmer and a driver, Jason has a very unique taste in cars, watches and clothing.
Let’s take a sneak peek in his garage shall we?
Jason Statham was seen flying on roads with an Audi in the Transporter movie, he also happens to own a couple of Audi’s (fascinating collection)
Jason’s A8 is a full size luxury sedan that has it all; luxury, performance, safety and of course style. The A8 comes with a 4.2 liter V8 engine and has 372 raging ponies under the hood. The sedan has quite a sumptuous cabin, an auto emergency braking system, and night vision with adaptive cruise control.
Apart from the luxury sedan, Statham has a stunning R8 which sports up a 5204 cc V10 engine that is powered by 552 hp. The R8 is said to cover 0-60mph in just 3.6seconds.
The power of 8 takes over Statham’s garage again, Statham owns a metallic black Audi S8 with an aluminum frame body and metallic paint, and this is just as luxurious as the A8.
LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO P 640:
You’ve seen him drive this monster in the transporter movie and he happens to own one too. The LP640 is an all wheel drive super car with a mid mounted 6.5-liter V12 engine with 631 HP and 487 lb-ft torque and covers 0-60 mph in 3.4 seconds.
ASTON MARTING DBS VOLANTE:
One of Jason Statham’s favorites, the Aston martin DBS Volante comes equipped with a 6 liter V 12 engine that produces 510 HP with 420 lb-ft of torque and covers 0-62 mph in 4.3 seconds. The car also has a 13 speaker audio system, and HDD satellite navigation system.
JAGUAR E type
This car made its appearance in the movie “Mehanic”, the brick red Jaguar E type has classy looks engaged to a great performing engine, the 5.2 liter series III V12 engine is mated to a manual 4 speed transmission system which delivers 276 bhp power and 301 lb-ft torque. The Jag takes 6.4 seconds to cover 0-100 kmph.
Another macho actor with a fleet of macho cars, the Hollywood A-list actor who is known to deliver box office busters (Expandables, Rocky etc)

Stallone owns a Mustang GT that he bought for $ 35,000 and then got it customised. He later sold this car and bought himslef a Camaro SS.
Hendricks Camaro SS
After selling his Mustang GT, Stallone bought the HendrickCamaroin the year 2010 and modified it according to his liking, the car definitely compliments him, it is surprisingly fast too, it covers 0-60 in 3.9 seconds.
Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Although stallone appears macho, he has a liking towards ferrari’s too. He owns a Ferrari 599 GTB and got the same customized too. The Fiorano covers 205 mph and accelerates from 0-62 in under 4 seconds.
Black Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
Another wild horse in Stallone’s garage, the Scaglietti posses an avant-garde design and uber cool features. The car is named in honor of sergio scaglietti, , the legendary Modenese stylist and coachbuilder. It is an epitome of luxury and performance.
Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series
Stallone also owns a Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series sports car, which looks as sexy as its performance. The dashboard of the Merc resembles the cockpit of an aeroplane; this ride can touch 320 kmph and sprints from 0-100 in just 3.5 seconds.
Bentley Continental GTC

Now that is an Arnold worthy-car. He owns the massive Hummer, which looks similar to the ones used by the American Army. But hey, it definitely suits his persona.

There is a little similarity between the cars Slvyster Stallone owns to those owned by Arnold.
Arnold has a Bentley Continental Supersports (convertible model)it defines luxury like no other.

Adding another similar brand in arnold’s garage is the Ferrari 360 spider, its quite the sex magnet and costs around $
Apart from the fancy yet mean machines, Arnold also owns an old school military jeep that looks simple yet efficeint.
This is definitely an Arnold worthy car, the Unimog from Mercedes is huge and aggressive. This is yet another hunk worthy machine.
Arnold has yet another Mercedes in his garage, only this time it a super sporty sprinter, the Mercedes – Benz SLS is yet another speed demon and it looks like a fairy’s wild dream.
The actor who has won the hearts of a zillion ladies (and counting) has a collection of cars that would definitely win guys hearts too.
Brad Pitt is one of the best-looking actors in Hollywood and he has a fair share of god looking cars that perform quite well.
Plenty of room in his heart and plenty of room in his super luxurious SUV, brad pitt has an Audi Q7 that accommodates his growing family (6)
The car is equipped with Satellite navigation system, decorated wood veneer interiors and a perfect family oriented luxury SUV.
Brad Pitt is a true bike enthusiast and one of the luckiestguys on earth; he has the fame, the dame and a collection of (god knows how many) bikes. You can spot him cruising around with his bike(s)
He has motorbikes like BMW R1150GS Adventure, Yamaha R1, Triumph Bonneville, Royal Enfield Bullet 500, the DucatiDesmosedici RR, few Harley-Davidson choppers and some custom choppers. He has cars and bikes that anybody would envy.
Being a Utility lover, brad pitt loves his black Jeep Cherokee that has a 190 Hp engine and is a perfect companion for off road conditions.

Making a debut at the New York auto show in 2014, the maxima has raised bars for the sporty sedan car segment. Maxima did not glide down glory road; Nissan motors had their shares of bumps and bruises. Let’s delve into the history of the Maxima.

The Cayman S was a Porsche offering till the year 2009. Being a mid-engined sports car, the Cayman S carried a 3.4 Litre Flax-Six Engine that produced 295 BHP @ 7000 RPM, The 6 speed manual transmission conveniently raced at 274 kmph. However, the Cayman S was a light weight car and a slight tap on the rear could give the racer a toss for his money, the acceleration on the Cayman S was impeccable. It went as fast as desired (after upgrading) The cayman came with a price tag of 94 Lakh INR while in the game it costs around $ 60,000 (half the price. Sigh!! what naa insaafi man!!)
PORSCHE CARRERA GT
Another mid engined supercar by Porsche took gamer’s by surprise. It was incredibly fast and very easy to drive. Well, being powered by a V10 engine does have a different awe altogether.
Being priced between 1.28-2.68 crores in the real world, it was much better getting it for $ 2,80,000 in the game (at least that way, we could just think about racing the car and not worrying about the other expenses :P)
Produced between 2004 to 2007, the 5.7 Litre V10 engine did wonders to the car. It produced 612 BHP @ 8000 RPM and a 6 speed manual transmission goes real easy on the roads (at least in the game it did)
PORSCHE 911 TURBO S (996)
Introduced to the Porsche family in the year 2004, the 996 Turbo S is a powerful beast that possesses more power than the 996 Turbo. All the power comes through a K24 Turbocharge fitting and the new intercoolers along with a higher manifold pressure of 0.9 bar. The 911 Turbo was replaced by the Porsche 997 Turbo S model in the year 2010.
In reality this car costs anywhere between 1.28 crores- 2.66 crore INR. While, the game offers the 996 Turbo for $ 1,05,000. Built on the heavier side, the turbo can catch great speeds and comes handy in drag races. However, it faces difficulty at corners.
The 3.6 Litre Turbo Flat 6 engine produces 444 BHP @ 6000 RPM, taking your ride at an impressive 307 kmph.
PORSCHE 911 CARRERA S (997)
Produced between 2004-2008, the 911 Carrera S (997) succeeded the previous 996 version. Built with a 3.8 Litre flat 6 Engine, it produced 350 BHP @ 6000 RPM. Being a rear wheel drive car, it could touch 293kmph in a jiffy. It is certainly a high performance car that was newly introduced to the PASM (Porsche Active Management System) and came with two different driving modes built for different driving conditions. The car touches the 1.4 crore price margin.
MERCEDES-BENZ SLR Mc LAREN:
Looks like a glorious achievement, the SLR Mc Laren is the trendy looking two seating, Mercedes Benz sports car that was definitely among my pic (especially the black colored merc) I’ve tried burnouts too (in the game)
Just the sound motivates you into going faster, thanks to the 5.4 litre S/C V8 (M115 ML55) Engine mated on this Chick Magnet. The SLR produces 617 BHP @ 6500 RPM. The 5 speed automatic transmission allows a gamer to reach 335 kmph in no time.
The SLR on the Merc means “Sport Leicht Rennsport” in more comprehensive terms, it means Sport Light Racing. This expensive Merc has carbon ceramic brake disks to put all that raging power to a hold.
In the game, the Merc SLR comes with a price tag of $ 3,00,000 whereas in real life, it costs around 2.37 Crore INR +.
MERCEDES BENZ SL 500 (R230)
Yet another Luxury addition to the Merc family as well as the NFS Most wanted, the SL 500 (RD 230) was produced post 2001 and lasted till the year 2011, the R 231 had taken over the R230 in 2012 including a few changes like a face lift, new bumpers, cooling intakes, new lamps (fog and rear), new alloy wheels and a more stylish V shape.
Available at a price tag of $ 75,000 in the game, the SL 500 costs and upwards of 1.15 crore Inr. The 302 BHP Producing machine @ 5600 RPM delivers an easy 250 kmph with its 5 speed Auto Transmission.
MERCEDES BENZ CLK 500
Considered one of the top performing model between 2002 and 2009 mated with a 5.08 L V8 engine that produced 302 BHP @ 6000 RPM which was replaced by the E 500 Coupe.
Priced at $ 75,000 the CLK 500 was a decent ride, I wouldn’t deem it perfect to command all sorts of races even after being completely upgraded with the junk man parts. Trouble lies in the corners, when the CLK 500 starts playing spoil sport with the gamer. The CLK 500 is the heavier cousin of the other Merc’s in the game, you can use this car to ram in to opponent cars or cops or if you are too bored, you can also bang into random gas stations or enter buildings and perform insane stunts. The rear wheel drive and 7 speed auto transmission,certainly comes in handy for such situations.
Most Wanted was definitely one of the most wanted racing game that partially fulfilled our racing fantasies. While, the other games under the NFS(Need For Speed) series have been a smashing success too, Most Wanted will always be known to start it all.
Most of the vehicle customization ideas flowed in from the game. I have come across real life modified versions of Indian Cars that look just like the ones in Most wanted. After sharing my opinion, its time for me to play the most wanted again.
The Japanese sensation, Toyota has its scrupulous dose of sensational automobiles ranging for generations, out of the globally launched automobiles; there is one particular vehicle from Toyota that still creates awe.
The Toyota “Kan Muri” (pronounced Camry) which means little crown or Beyond Compare, has been adding successful miles to Toyota since 1982. The naming tradition behind the Camry was primarily because of the models that rolled out Toyota’s production workshop during 1950’s. The Toyota Crown, Corona and Corolla have similar meanings (crown, small crown) they were built to bestow a crown upon the customer (Customer felt like a crowned king, literally!!)
Recent news about the upcoming 2015 Toyota Camry sounds fun and the features make it just too exciting to ignore. The initial Camry bodies were narrow and compact in size, however the new models have grown bigger and wider. During the early 1980’s, the Camry was an un-embellished 4 door sedan that carried the Celica Camry name plate. Post 1982, the Camry was an independent model backed with a V10. A few years later, Toyota rolled out the Camry V20 series that made its debut in 1986, and four years later came the V30 sedan & hardtop, a model that was exclusively built for Japan.
Owing to an increasing demand for a commodious Camry, the wide-bodied XV 10 Sedan/Station wagon was introduced in 1991. The Camry had built quite a reputation by then, and Toyota kept the production and design meter rolling. The year was 1994 when the V30 was replaced by V40 and the XV10 was replaced in the year 1996, but the name was changed to Camry Gracia (gracias Toyota for this beauty) in Japan.
Post 1998, Vista had ended the Camry calibration and rolled out independent models with the V50 nameplate, however this too had a shortcoming, it was withdrawn in the year 2003. With an increasing popularity for wide-bodied cars, the XV 30 was launched in 2001; this car was quite spacious inside out. Toyota did not end the production just yet. The XV40 was launched in 2006, which was taken over by the XV50 models since 2011. The Camry looks camri-er than ever. The current models look trendy and fun loving.
Let’s look at how Toyota has been steering the family sedans in America.
The V10 – V50 ( a long story short) [1979-present]
It started in the year 1982, post the Toyota Celica (Celica Camry) roll out, the Toyota Vista had been assembled at the Tsunami plant in Japan and was ready to be introduced to various roads. The 4-door sedans and 5 door lift back’s were introduced with transverse front engines and front wheel drive. The versions that had rolled out during that period had gasoline and diesel engines such as (1.8 L gasoline, 2.0 L gasoline, 1.8 L diesel turbo and 2.0 L diesel turbo variants) the vehicles were available in 4 and 5 speed transmissions
The next generation Camry sedans were produced soon after; they were named (S-series) SV10, SV11 and SV 12 along with (C-series) the CV 10 and CV 11. The V10 series bearing vehicles were 4 door notch back sedans. At the same time, Toyota had started exporting the Camry to Australia, Europe an North America.
During 1983-1986 Toyota Camry started tasting the sourness of competition, the Honda Accord was accredited the leading competitor of the Camry. Honda was really making the competition intense for Toyota. Owing to competition pressure and the need for innovation, the Camry cars had a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine that produced 92 horse power and was more powerful than the 86 hp (1.86 litre) accord, the wheelbase was longer than that of the Accord and there was more space for passengers and less room for competition.
It was time for the Second generation Camry, 1987 welcomed the new Camry that had many improved features and looks, the engine remained the same (2 litre; 4 cylinder) but the horse power increased to 115hp, it was pretty modern (then) and it was more aggressive than Honda Accord, Having said that, the Camry was preferred by the smooth and quiet transportation lovers whereas the Accord was pro interaction and feedback. During 1988, the Camry was launched with a V6 engine with an all wheel drive option, it had a 2.5 liter V6 DOHC (double overhead cams) that had 4 valves per cylinder and was as powerful as 153 ponies. This was the same time when these Japanese charms started making their appearance on American roads, Honda wasn’t prepared for the Japanese dominion on American roads but US customers were ready to welcome the Japanese technology in their garage.
In 1989,Toyota had the “All-Trac” technology with an automatic gearbox fitted into the Camry. The years that followed were glorious for Toyota. The brand was one among the finest brands to offer great cars with an excellent build quality and the cars topped the sales charts.
Many Camries were produced at the Kentucky Plant (Reminds me of KFC!!) to produce quality family cars. Camry was the fifth best selling car in America. During 1991, the Camry LE V6 Sedan and Wagon and the All Trac LE sedans were the popular cars being sold. During the same year, Toyota added knock sensors into the V6 cars that ensured smooth operations on roads.
America started becoming fond of large cars and so, in 1992 Toyota felt magnanimous and decided to increase the dimensions of the Camry, a notch. The larger Camry was a pleasant addition to the Toyota family. Not only was the space increased, Toyota also tried to broaden the smiles on the customers faces by adding smooth and round aerodynamics to the car, the body underwent various visual changes and improvements. The engine was smoother; the car was less noisier and started competing with luxury car rivals. Safety was given priority and Airbags were introduced, so were the three-point belts and ABS was introduced to Camry. Toyota did not stop there; the engines were bigger (2.2 liters) and flaunted 130 Horsepower. The V6 was upgraded to 3 liter and boosted 185 Hp. The new Camry was not only muscular, it learnt the new language of speed; it could do 0-60 in under 8 seconds. It was just about the right time to introduce sports Camry Sedans for the enthusiasts. This was a class apart from the regular Camry sedans, the sports car was bred differently, it had racing dynamics, sporty seats, rear spoiler and black tinted windows, there was a door handle and mirror trim.During 1996, the fifth generation Camry was introduced, there weren’t any prominent changes since the ’95 Camry, there were new seats, the interiors felt different and there were 2 new versions LE and LE Wagon introduced.
New and improved Camry was introduced in 1997, with a new body style and more curves, Toyota decided to drop the two door sedans and stick on to the four door sedans. There were three trim levels available namely; CE (base version) LE and the fully loaded XLE, the sporty Camry had to leave the production track of Toyota.
Toyota added more powerful engines to the Camry, the 2.2 liter inline four engine had 133 HP, whereas the V6 Toyota Camry had anti lock brakes added to them, ABS was also standard on all the 1997 Camries (except four cylinder models)
American consumers had a liking towards this new Camry, and evidently the Camry was the best selling car in the US during 1997.
There were safety-enhanced features incorporated in the 1998 Camrys, there were anti-theft systems improved via engine immobilizers in the cars and this just increased the reputation for Camrys. During 1999, Toyota had launched a Camry coupe named Camry Solara, this car had a look of its own and was creased in a very unique manner. The Solara models were available with either 4 cylinders or V6 variants and automatic and manual transmissions.
The same design lasted for around five years and the Toyota Camry that was launched in 2002 had a very unique body that looked far better than previous models. Elegance was the prime focus and Toyota worked completely towards giving the new Camry a whole new make over. Owing to minor changes in the previous years, in the year 2007, Toyota Camry had received major changes. The new design was radical and it did seem like the perfect Sedan apart from its luxury oriented features.
Toyota had released 4 trim models of the new Toyota Camry, the CE (base model), LE, SE and XLE.
Since 2011, the Camry XV50 is being sold in the US. The car has received various visual changes. But it still remains one of the most desired Family Sedans.
THE ALL-NEW Toyota CAMRY 2015
After along ride that lasted for generations, Toyota has geared up to say “Konnichiwa” to the all-new Camry 2015. Toyota has infused all sorts of changes in all Camrys ever produced. But, one such thing that it lacked was the “Fun Factor”
And so, Toyota has gracefully refreshed the look and feel of the new Toyota Camry. The new Camry is going to make driving an exciting task, it is going to be really quiet (not quiet an advantage to those who are married J) and it certainly has stunning looks. The new interiors spell sophistication and there are world-class features that would definitely spoil you. Toyota is trying to add the Camry to an up market sedan segment. The car feels quite fresh and ready to hit the roads.
Apart from the now, the Toyota Camry gets a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder model that has 178 Horsepower and a 3.5-literV6 model powered by 268 ponies. Both the models are paired with a six-speed auto transmission. Toyota has also introduced a Hybrid model with 2.5 liter Atkinson-Cycle four-cylinder engine with electric motor and nickel-metal hydride battery pack, which has an output of 200 hp. You can be assured that all the (3) engines are quality performers and go easy on your fuel. These cars make perfect Family Sedans.
Accused of being a boring car on roads, Toyota has added zingy features to the 2015 Camry to make it peppier than ever. A sporty XSE trim level model will be available to groove things up.

The Camry gets its style elements from Avalon and Corolla and a few adaptations from Lexus. Toyota has given entertainment and design a lot of priority.
The interiors are plush and sporty, there is a 4.2 inch TFT display placed between the Optitron gauges; there is also a wireless smart phone charging provision placed in the center console.
Directly competing with the 2015 Camry is the Honda Accord, both the cars share a lot of resemblance but, the 2014 Accord is a bit pricier than the 2014 Camry. Considering a “supposed” fun factor in the all-new Toyota Camry, the price is also going to loot the customer funny 🙂
The price of the 2015 Toyota Camry is a mystery. However, judging by the price of the 2014 base model Camry L (US $ 23,235) and the top end V6 XLE model (US $ 31,515) whereas the 2014 Hybrid Model costs between US $ 27,140 to US $ 28,755. The 2015 Camry might cost tad more than the 2014 models.
The Toyota Camry is the epitome of sheer performance. It carries generations of thought and technology that have been tactically placed in the Family Sedan.
With the best sales record for selling the best Family sedan, Toyota retains the 12 years pride and the 2015 Camry is definitely going to carry on the successful legacy.

When there is rivalry between the ultimate super car producing companies; the world stands witness. Ferrari (a division of fiat motors) has a hybrid card up its sleeve. This time, its habiliment pronounces a certain gumption that makes its rivals look fatuous.
The year was 2013, and the Geneva Motor show had its finest moments of new cars being unveiled, new features being flaunted and aspiration levels flying up higher than our dreams. There was sheer joy among enthusiasts, and then came the moment that made various speed freaks skip a heart beat (or more) The La’Ferrari was unveiled. It has equine features of a stallion that is powered hybrid.
La Ferrari (sounds very French) simply means The Ferrari (to the lay man) this is a one of a kind addition to the new age hybrid hyper car breeds. The name might be gullible, but beware this car isn’t just about the style and glamour, the power produced by the hyper hybrid can get you flying on the road at 300 kmph (whew!!)
The La Ferrari defeats the bull too, it is more powerful than the Lamborghini Veneo, and being faster than the previous MC Laren P1 it challenges the Posrche 918 Spyder. Although this car does not have the ability to run under full electric power like the Porsche and Mc laren at low speeds, but Ferrari clearly claims that the La Ferrari is the successor of the Enzo and takes you up close and personal to being a Formula One Driver with this brutal force on wheels.

The heart of the stallion is a 6.3-litre V12 Engine that has been upgraded. The same engine resides in the F12 Berlinetta. The upgrades include an increased compression ratio of 13.5:1 and there are various internal modifications done to the engine to produce a powerhouse. The improved engine produces 596 kW power @ 9000RPM, and the peak torque goes up to 700 Nm @ 6750 RPM (if this isn’t real power then what is?)
The Story of power doesn’t end there, the V12 engine is also accompanied by a pair of specially designed motors by the F1 electronic partner, Magneti Marelli who has introduced a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) adds on 120kW to the La Ferrari’s drive train that boost up its power a notch higher, making the power output go up to a staggering 718kW and producing a torque of 900Nm (WOW!!)
All that power is gets delivered to the rear wheels through the 7 speed dual clutch gearbox that boosts the Ferrari to around 100 kmph in less than 3 seconds (mind=blown). This car is all set to match the McLaren, Porsche 918 and the Lamborghini Veneno, the Ferrari bests the Mclaren (200kmph in 7 seconds) to a faster 300 kmph, making it faster by 2 seconds. The LaFerrari was also tested at Ferrari’s Fiaorano test circuit and it lapped 5 seconds faster than the Enzo, the la Ferrari also laps the Nurburgring circuit in less than 7 minutes, it is Ferrari’s fastest and the most aggressive road car.
All that power is concealed under a lightweight carbon fiber chassis that is sturdy and has a low center of gravity as compared to the Enzo. It weighs around 1360 kgs and it isn’t as bulky as most of the hyper cars built. The body is honed in the same manner and the same wind tunnel as most of the F1 race cars. The cars feature pretty neat aerodynamic devices like the diffusers (front and back) The wing mirrors on the La Ferrari are quite long, they are built in such a manner that the driver can look at the car’s rear wheel arches. This might be absurdly built, but that’s the trend (so what are we really going to do about it right?)
The LaFerrari has a double wishbone suspension mated with magnetic shock absorbers and new & improved carbon brakes to seize all the hyper power on wheels. Even the tires are of a different class; the specially crafted Pirelli P-Zero Tires are safe and obviously one of a kind.
Inspired by the F1 cars, the cockpit has two seats and the seats are a fixed part of the chassis. The pedal box and steering wheel can be adjusted according to the driver’s comfort, or you could pretty much get it tailor made (After all, you are going to burn the deepest corners of your pockets to afford this ride, so why not customize it?)
WHAT’S WITH THE HYBRID?
The Hyper-Hybrid La Ferrari spreads the Green word loud and clear, this is the future of green cars. The V12 engine is mated to an electric motor, the car is Hybrid and it is built not only for speed but to refurbish and redefine the way people look at green cars.
The car runs on a petrol engine and runs on three variations. It is developed for racing and stores electrical energy and uses it later to supplement power from the petrol engine.
The car reduces fuel consumption and lowers CO2 emissions.
This is the most crucial section. Ratan Tata had pored over each and every inch of La Ferrari at the Geneva auto Show, He claimed that the car looks terrific and what’s more terrific is its price. One being asked if he would buy one, he joked, “I don’t have the money”
Well, the car costs $ 2 million !
