BMW S1000R – lot more than a bike

Naked bikes have become an essential part of the bikers’ world these days. This naked street bike market has found a great elevation due to their styling, performance and handling. 2014 has seen wide range of street riders and a tough competition for conquering the crown. Some machines made their way to the top in this epic battle. The BMW S1000R is a jewel at the topper list competing Aprilia Tuono V4R, Ducati Monster 1200, KTM 1290 Super Duke R. This competition is a big one to catch up, because except the S1000R the others have a superior engine configuration, but when it comes to performance all these machines share a closer margin.

Frankly speaking the BMW has fixed a reasonable price tag for this roadster with various special features that are synthesized with the bike’s body. If you take a KTM Super duke, it’s a mean machine offering more and more torque but the BMW gives you a fantastic road presence in addition to a punchy torque while the Ducati and Aprilia makes a tranquil rise to their top speeds.

Conquer the Asphalt on the S1000R

Now let us get deep into our subject, the S1000R. The BMW Motorrad has come up with its S1000R in a mindset of giving  the riders an experience of the legendary S1000RR stuffed in a naked bike. Yes, the S1000R and the S1000RR are siblings with a slight difference in design and performance. The S1000R uses the same 4-cylinder in-line engine derived from the S1000RR with a minor optimization which results in an extreme linear torque delivered for a constant forward actuation across the entire speed range. Focusing into the optimization we can find that the power has been cut out by 30bhp from that of ‘RR’ and the torque remains the same.

It seems that the BMW has declared that this power is enough for the naked bike. But trust me, the S1000R is nothing inferior to the RR with a reduced power, because the R will go wild on the streets. The 0-100km/h is attained at 3.1 seconds with the top speed of 275km/h which makes the S1000R the fastest for its engine configuration.

Technical Specifications:

If we look at the technical specifications listed by the manufacturer we may wonder how cool this machine has been designed. The street rider has an electronic fuel injected water/oil-cooled 4 cylinder engine using the 4-valve technology with a capacity of 999CC and two overhead camshafts. Theoretically the power has been rated as 160bhp at 11000 rpm with a maximum torque of 112Nm at 9,250 rpm. Here the maximum torque is a same number as that of the mighty S1000RR.

The most important area is the power transmission, this is taken care bya 6-speed constant-mesh gearbox supported with a multiplate anti hopping clutch unit. This provides the bike with a quick-shift between the gears, the engine can cruise at any speed at any gear which is probably an issue in the KTM Super Duke, Aprilia Tuono and Ducati Monster. I seriously admire the S1000R because the 100km/h is crossed at the first gear which is an impossible dream with my little FZ-S. Ok I was just kidding, the FZ-S doesn’t belong to this big league, but cruising above 100km/h at the first gear is an amazing experience. Well done BMW Motorrad 🙂 that’s a wonderful job you people have done with the design of that quick-shift gearbox.

Now let us take a look at the chassis configuration and the dimensional specifications with which the S1000R naked roadster has been built. The integral part, the frame has been made of aluminium composite material for a mixed result of light weight, good strength and corrosion resistance. The front and the rear suspension system are adjustable electronically for a good biking experience on a variety of roads. The brake system has been constructed with the same set of front and rear discs offered in the S1000RR. The front wheel has twin disc brake with the diameter and thickness of 320mm and 5mm respectively. The rear wheel has a single disc with a diameter of 220mm and thickness of 5mm. In addition to this the BMW Motorrad has given the BMW a Race ABS that can be controlled electronically. The R has a dimension of 2057mm X 845mm X 1228mm that is entirely different from the S1000RR. The fuel tank can carry 17.5l of fuel with an estimated fuel consumption of 5.4l per 100km at a constant speed of 90km/h and 0.2l extra for a same distance at 120km/h.

Main Highlights

BMW S1000R-01.JPG

The major attractions of this BMW machine is the cutting edge electronic system that provides a better company to support the rider with his biking experience. There are three riding modes that can be switched over to and be used on various conditions. These riding modes are programmed to provide a variation in throttling and torque on the go. So 4 riding modes that’s awesome, what are they? Rain mode, Road mode, Dynamic mode and Dynamic Pro mode… yes these are the four riding modes that can be switched using the simple menu available in the bike’s control display, ok the main display or speedometer unit.

The Rain mode offers a sensitive ASC/ABS response on wet road surface. The Road mode offers an optimum throttle and ASC/ABS response for an outstanding acceleration on dry roads. The Dynamic and the Dynamic pro mode is available on an optional package with DTC for very notorious riders who are happy to follow their own riding style without the full assist of ABS.

Not only this, the R has Dynamic Damping Control (DDC) and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC). I have mentioned DTC in the previous paragraph, before going to DTC let’s see what Dynamic Damping Control (DDC) is. The DDC is nothing but the ability of the roadster to adjust and adapt its suspension system within milliseconds according to the condition of the road surface. Whereas the Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) is nothing but an assistance system housing a sensor to prevent the rear wheel from slipping during low friction at roads and provide maximum possible throttle. In addition to this there is a wheelie control system and anti-rear lift system which ensures in providing maximum safety.

The Verdict

The BMW S1000R is a wonderful bike that deserves a lot of appreciation. Somewhere around the internet I have come across an article comparing the S1000R with the Nissan GT-R. It’s really a strange comparison, but the bike conquers your heart. If u are getting the same kind of experience at the price one tenth of the GT-R you will definitely go for it. And yeah I can write a 100 pages about this bike and its reading experience! The BMW S1000R is lot more than a bike as the title tells you. So if u are ready to spend on a 1000CC range street bike you can go for the S1000R.

Tweaks to get an Ultimate Stunt Machine

Tweaks to get an Ultimate Stunt Machine

I have been wondering for years that how some people rock the roads with their bikes. Some of the questions that flashed up into my mind are: Are these people gifted with some supernatural power with which they can communicate with their bikes? Or do these things solely depend on the bikes?  Well, I got my answers from one of my friend named Andrew Jason Raj who is one of the best freestyle stunt professional, according to him both the bike and the rider should understand each other.

This sounds strange, but yes they should have a good relationship, actually a bike is a life less thing but it is capable of accompanying you and provide an adrenaline rush if u take care of it properly. This guy (Andrew) and his team have a hobby of lifting their bikes, burning their tires and astonishing people around them, including me. Ok let’s see how this is actually made possible, how an ordinary bike becomes an amazingly notorious stunt machine. The first and the foremost step is to mod your bike with some high end spares that are capable of delivering an amazing performance.

The major mods required

There are many modifications that the freestyle stunter’s around the globe prefer when it comes to transforming the stock bike into a dynamic and hyperactive ride. I have got them here for you.

  1. Crash Cage:crash cage

This is not just an equipment, it’s a strong frame that is custom designed by welding steel rods arranged in a required fashion. It looks like an iron cage. This crash cage takes all the impact itself in any incident of crash or fall. The crash cage acts as the guardian for both the bike and its rider. This actually converts your bike into a survivor from accidental crashes and assures you a safer stunting experience.

  1. Extra large rear sprocket

Larger sprockets are very essential for an effective stunt performance, because they will lead to the change in the gear ratio of your bike. This will end up in increasing the acceleration. An increased acceleration is the key for stunts like a wheelie. With this u can easily lift up your front wheel and sail on the roads.

  1. Tires & Wheels:

rear wheel                 Good tires provide you a good grip and gives life to your stunts by improving the way at which the beast responds. What part does a good wheel play here? A good wheel will provide an extra strength to the bike in addition to the chassis. Now I suggest you to grab a pair of reinforced wheels and a pair of durable tires to leave people looking at you in astonishment. Well u can burn your tires and make some donuts on the asphalt.

  1. High Performance Brake calipers:

the modified stunt bike  A big word of advice to you is the brake calipers should be definitely changed for making stunts with your bike. A very efficient brake will ensure you a great stoppie and yendo experience. Some of you might not be familiar with some of these terms( a simple Google of these terms will fill you with more information on these terms )

  1. Bulked-up forks and short exhausts:

As mentioned above, the wheels offer good reliability but the victim of a sudden brake are the front forks. Keeping this in mind u should replace your stock forks into a bulked-up fork which are often used by racers. Another thing here is the installation of shorter exhausts. This will deliver you a huge roar and a great performance during the stunt run. The exhaust is actually the craziest part of the game here expressing the joy of the engine.

  1. Easy pull clutch

tank wheelie

The easy pull clutch may sound weird, this is nothing but the process of increasing the clutch power resulting in a positive alteration of the clutch to a higher end. When you compare a stock clutch with this kind of clutch, you will notice that this clutch will be more responsive and highly smooth during transmission.

  1. Extra brake lever:

It is essential to add an additional brake lever to control the rear brake. Generally the rear brake is controlled by a foot operated lever, adding an extra control to the handle bar gives you an extra support and finishes your job without any flaws.

  1. Steering stabilizers:

The steering stabilizers are really cool. They keep your bikes handle bar free from wobbling during a wheelie. It allows you to maintain the handle position firm without your hands on it, u can even stand on the bike with a steering stabilizer installed in it. This one is similar to a gyro used to control the rolling movement in an aircraft.

  1. Dented tanks:

The dented tanks are actually important in freestyle stunting, without this you cannot catch up with some types of stunts. The tank is actually carved in specific shape to allow u sit on them while riding the bike. Denting the tank may spoil the beauty of the bike and reduce the fuel capacity but there is no gain without a loss. If u want to unleash some extreme stunts, then you have to go for it.

10. Modified rear seats and extra foot rests:

modified seat and additional footrest

The modified rear seats will help you to gain an extra support in the middle  of a stunt. The seat is cut and a steal frame should be welded at the back end of your bike to stand and cheer up during a stunt run. Some additional foot rests are also installed on the front and the rear axle of your bike to gain a comfortable grip during the show off.

Practice, the next element

So far we have seen the various medications that can wake up the stunt machine in your stock bike. However practice is the key to start a better communication between you and your bike. If you have decided to make modifications to your bike then you should definitely spend a lot of time in learning and practicing things. Professionals are created by the huge amount of experience and practices, skills are born from regular practice. Now what are you waiting for? If u have some bucks and a will to stunt, grab some safety gears and move on to make your ride more peppier and naughtier thing. Enjoy stunting…. 🙂

V8 ONEder from Koenigsegg

The dawn of a new era

Untitled-14There is a prophecy that the maximum power produced by an engine depends the number of cylinders present in it and size of the cylindrical chamber. This prophecy had led to the introduction of new types of engines with various modifications in design and working process. One such engine platform are the V8 engines having 8 cylinders arranged in V-shape. Since its origin from 1902, the V8 engines are evolving to a better shape. The 2014 Geneva motor show had turned into a nightmare for this prophecy. The Swedish carmaker Koenigsegg has recently reached an incredible feat with the introduction of the One:1 program that was targeted for the sculpturing of six unique machines.

This One:1 program from Koenigsegg aims at proving the world that the V8 engines are capable of giving out a greater power than imagined when they are designed with better care. This feat by Koenigsegg had led the Bugatti in shame for the second time in a row. The Bugatti which rolled out the bully veyrons with W16 engines supported by the quad-turbochargers believed that they have achieved something very big in the automotive world.

The Veyron’s 8.0L engine had a peak power output of 1,000 bhp which made it to reach an unbelievable top speed of 407.12Km/h (252.97mph). The Koenigsegg’s Agera R blew up the Bugatti’s cover for the first time, the second big blow was given with the intro of the One:1 concept.

The Concept of One:1

The One:1 works based on a principle of hp to kg curb weight ratio, that is 1hp for 1Kg.The total Curb weight of the car is 1360Kg, so the max power of One:1 is 1360Ps according to the equation. This concept was thought to be an impossible phenomenon. U might be knowing that 1360Ps is equal to 1 megawatt of power. This makes one:1 the world’s first car to produce a total power that equals to an incredible one million watts. Koenigsegg has given high priority for their design and aerodynamics to achieve this big leap.Untitled-12

The oomph factor:

The Koenigsegg One:1 is a heavier modification of the typical Agera. So it carries a 5.0L V8 engine with specially developed 7-speed dual clutch transmission with paddle-shift and an electronic item that had been equipped in its predecessors. This V8 engine has 4 valves per cylinder and DOHC technology. The engine has 92mm bore and a stroke length of 95.25 mm with a compression ratio of 9.0:1. The fuel is delivered sequentially by multipoint fuel injection system. The total weight of the engine is 197Kg fabricated with carbon fiber intake manifold consisting of optimized intake system and ceramic coated exhaust manifold.

The variable geometry twin turbochargers equipped in the one:1 boosts the horsepower by a 201 units by supplying an additional pressure of 26.1 psi to the combustible mixture. Thus the car is capable of escalating from 0 to 400km/h at approximately 20 seconds. This is exciting isn’t it? not only this, the One:1 can be stopped even quicker than that from 400km/h at 10 sec approximately with a braking distance of 28m for 100-0km/h. The brake system is made up of ventilated ceramic discs of 397 mm diameter and 40 mm width at front with 6-piston calipers for a tight grip, as the rear brakes has ventilated ceramic discs of 380 mm diameter and 34 mm wide with 4-piston calipers. This master piece is definitely a license to thrill your senses.

Design features, Aerodynamics and Dimensions:

The design of the one:1 as mentioned above has been made carefully with cutting edge technology, assuming all the possible conditions of the surroundings. The body of the car is made up of the super strong lightweight materials such as advanced high modulus carbon fibers and Kevlar for the body. The chassis is made of the honeycomb core and integrated fuel tanks for optimized weight distribution and safety as that of the F1 cars.

It is an unimaginable fact that this super car has a total chassis weight of only 72Kg. The vehicle’s aerodynamics plays an important role in achieving the power packed performance. The drag coefficient ranges from 0.45 to 0.50 with adaptable rear wings. The trunk weight has been reduced to increase the frontal down force by 40% from the usual weight, i.e, the total downforce at 260km/h is 610kg and 830kg at 440km/h. Thus the weight is distributed as 44% of total weight at front and 56% at rear. The body mods present here are designed favorably to improve the smooth flow of air through them.

The dimension of this mega machine is 4500 mm x 2060 mm x 1150 mm with a ground clearance 59-100 mm and 74-90 mm at front and rear respectively. Guess what? there is a lift system that can be used to modify the ground clearance by 50 mm. Ok let us go to the fuel tank details, the fuel tank can hold 74 litres of fuel. In this case three types of fuels are available as an option, yes three types of fuels, I am not bluffing, the one:1 follows the footsteps of the iconic CCXR running with either E85 biofuel, Race fuel or normal gasoline fuel. There is a problem with Agera, that is, when the Octane number of the fuel decreases, the horsepower shrinks. But this has been rectified here.

Electronic equipment and Additional Features:

The electronic equipment acts like the brain controlling the heart and thus delivering the performance at top notch. The equipment cluster consists of typical systems such as lightweight glass system, power windows, sport ABS, Electronic Speed Controller, Power steering and brakes, automatic climate control, rear view camera, tyre monitoring system etc. The other equipment like G sensor, active ride height for adjusting ride height, the intelligent LifePro4 battery are not usually found in other ordinary high end cars.

The One:1 is equipped with the exclusively developed Michelin Cup 2 tires with the frontal and rear dimensions of 265/35-19” and 345/30-20” respectively with a speed rating of 440km/h. The additional attractions such as the monolithic racing bucket seats, active shock absorber settings, titanium exhaust outlet, active noise cancellation, variable turbo geometry aims at providing an enhanced riding experience.

Crisp Opinion:

The Koenigsegg one:1 is undoubtedly the most desirable piece of techno-craft and a remarkable milestone in the automobile world. The one:1 may cost around 25lakh US$ which is a very hefty price to be paid. But pleasure and pride of holding the Diamond encrusted key of this masterpiece surely has no price limit. The One:1 is now the superior member of the brotherhood of big elite machines like Pagani Hayura, Bugatti Veyron, Hennesy VenomGT andits own siblings the CCXR and Agera.

The new BUMBLEBEE: The Bajaj Pulsar 200ss

Pulsar 200 SS

This time and Bajaj Auto is back to the market with another eye catchy fearless monster, the new Pulsar 200ss. The Delhi Auto Expo 2014 has been a biggest turning point for Bajaj auto with the prototype launch of the full-fairing Pulsar SS400 and the naked style Pulsar CS400 concepts. Both the prototypes looked stunning and aggressive. Automobile enthusiasts all over the country have been expecting for the launch of one of these bikes in the 400cc criteria which has not drawn much attention in our country. The RC 390 by KTM was expected to compete with the 400cc pulsars. But it seems like Bajaj auto has planned to make a strategic shift by staying active and dominate the 200cc range of bikes with the carbon copy of SS400, the Pulsar 200ss that is believed to be on the launch pad anytime soon this month. Bajaj autos has been testing its new bike around the country for this purpose.

Bajaj Pulsar 200SSThe new Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is the trending talk of the Indian bike sector with an improved performance and a jazzy look that would write another history in the Pulsar trademark. As mentioned above, this new maniac from the pulsar family has been spotted around the country during its test run and it was reported that the bike has nothing similar in looks with its elder brothers. Until the official launch the exact specifications and the special features cannot not be discussed deeper, but rumors that have been spread around about the pulsar 200SS gives a clear picture about the performance and other features. For now we have lot of leaked information that would tell us about the next generation pulsar.
Bajaj Pulsar 200SSAppearance:The first and foremost is the elegant appearance of the Pulsar 200SS. One would keep on talking more about the appearance if they had a glimpse of the next gen pulsar. Several images of the pulsar have been leaked since the month of May. These images have made one thing clear, the new pulsar will have a full-fairing which makes it look like a super sports bike with a postfix ‘SS’ denoting the same. It is said that the fairing is double layered. In this bike only a little part of the engine is exposed outside the fairing. The 200SS is the first bike from the pulsar family to have a full-fairing that makes this Indian born bike a unique machine. Due to the covered sides, the bike is equipped with a radiator that plays an essential role in cooling the engine. The best part of the Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is its front styling. The front doom makes the bike look more stylish with a cool styled visor and all the perfectly matching decals that makes it look like a super styled rockstar. The center of attraction are the twin projector lamps with the LED pilot lights. These pair of projectors and pilot lights are symmetrically placed at each side of the front face with a black portion in the middle coming straight down from behind the visor. This front part will look like a head that makes it resemble like the famous Autobot, the Bumblebee. I personally feel that this bike appears like a two wheeled bumblebee with a yellow color option that is available. The indicators are placed compactly within the doom and refreshingly equipped with LEDs which makes it durable. Alike the Pulsar 220, the yet to be released pulsar 200SS has the rear view mirrors attached on the front doom. The rear styling of the pulsar 200ss is totally different from the rest of its family members. There is a super cool looking muffler head that looks like a makeover of the Honda’s CBR150R. The same kind of split seat that is present in the pulsar 200NS is present in the pulsar 200SS. Here the tail lamp has a special look that no other bike on the Indian roads have. During the night they appear like a cobra’s head from a certain distance. If we take a close look, it will appear such that a boomerang is mirrored. The tail light along with a pair of the rear indicator lights are built with the highly reliable LEDs.Bajaj auto has made sure that the new Pulsar 200SS should look amazingly sporty and muscular. The fuel tank and the instrumental cluster appear to look the same as that of the pulsar 200NS. The main drawback with the super sports bike are that, they seem to trouble the riders with a back pain on a long run, but here the drawback is rectified by increasing the handle bar to a slightly higher point avoiding the rider to bend more.Performance:As the pulsar 200SS is not launched yet officially, there is nothing much to about its specifications. Bajaj auto has been rolling out the 200SS in a full swing to the dealers across the country. According to the sources, the 199.5cc heart of the bike yields about [email protected] with 18.3Nm torque @8000rpm. Pulsar 200SS is expected to be equipped with a triple spark engine similar to that of the 200NS with improved acceleration. The engine is mated with a 6speed transmission system and has a fuel injection system that is aimed to make this 2-wheeler a more economic one of the pulsar family.Concise:With the new 200cc machine priced between 1.2lakhs-1.3lakhs that is waiting to roll out, Bajaj auto has a greater advantage of scoring a greater profit with this bike that would stand a tough fight with the Honda CBR 150R, Yamaha YZF R15 and KTM Duke 200. So let us await the official launch of the style statement at our Indian market for more information regarding the special features and other specifications.[yop_poll id="3"]

Face Off:Yamaha FZ v2.0 vs Suzuki Gixxer

Yamaha FZ16 V2

It’s the battle for the throne by the two Japanese giants, Yamaha and  Suzuki for the ultimate possession of the 150CC segment bike market in India with the new improved Yamaha FZ V2.0 FI and the new exclusive Suzuki Gixxer150. Both the bikes are very unique in their style and performance with a quite affordable price. These two machines are aimed at attracting the consumers between the age group of 18 to 30.The new improved Yamaha FZ V2.0 FI is equipped with a fuel injected powerhouse which uses the Blue Core technology that was introduced by Yamaha for good fuel economy and power as well. On the other hand we have the Suzuki’s new challenger, the Gixxer150 which is designed by the expert team that worked for the super bikes in the legendary GSX-R series & is produced with the new path breaking and cutting edge Suzuki Eco Performance(SEP) technology which delivers top class fuel efficiency without compromising on power and performance. Now let us see the ups and downs of these two street macho's in various aspects.

Suzuki Gixxer vs Yamaha FZ v2.0

Engine Both the bikes are crafted with the super powered compact engines that deliver nearly same amount of power as that of the other. The Yamaha FZ V2.0 FI has a 149cc, 4-stroke Air cooled power generator which is controlled with a constant mesh 5-speed transmission system that is capable of producing a smooth 12.9 BHP @ 8000rpm. The specialty of this engine is the ‘Blue Core’ technology which is claimed to improve the mileage up by 14% leading it to around 50.64Kmpl at city and 53Kmpl at highways. This bike gets the glory of being the first in the Indian 150cc bike segment to get a fuel injection system. This advanced fuel injection system uses special sensors to detect the changes in temperature, pressure and the engine condition and deliver only the needed amount of fuel to be burnt. This move by Yamaha targets to attract the customers who are keen about fuel efficiency & milage. It was said at the launch that the power of the engine has been reduced from 14BHP to 13BHP. But it feels nearly the same as its predecessor with a slight decrease at its top speed. The bike escalates to 100kph at 20.4sec and stays study at that speed. The Suzuki Gixxer150 has an engine displacement of 154.9cc. This engine is also molded with fins which makes it look similar to the other typical air-cooled engines. It was expected that the bike will be powered by a 6-speed transmission system like the GS150R but the manufacturers were happy with the 5-speed transmission which does its job well. Here the engine produces a raw power of [email protected] which nearly units more than that of the FZ S. This engine is pretty dynamic and touches 100kph at mere 19.2sec. The Gixxer’s fuel is delivered to its engine by a carburetor. The Suzuki Eco Performance engine has been designed in such a way that all the losses of energy during the working of the engine is decreased by the modification of the materials that are used to build the engine. This makes this engine a racy beast with a higher fuel economy. It was certified by ARAI that the bike is capable of burning a litre of petrol for every 64Km under ideal conditions. But the bike is capable of giving 51kmpl at city and 56kmpl at the highways.DimensionsThe FZ V2.0 and the Gixxer are fabulously designed in such a way that throttling through the stretches keeps the rider feel no tired for hours as the bends and curves are always a great fun to get through. The FZ V2.0 has a compact dimension of 1990mm*770mm*1030mm. This makes the bike get good control and better handling throughout the journey. The bike has a wheelbase of 1330mm and a ground clearance of 160mm. Yamaha corp. has reduced the weight of this machine to 132Kg which makes the bike ride a joy.The Gixxer alike its competitor has an overall length, width and height of 2025mm, 785mm and 1030mm. This street racer also shares the same ground clearance as that of FZ V2.0. Although the Gixxer is 2Kg heavier than the Lord of the streets, it feels perfectly matched with its structural properties.Style and Features
Odometer Console Both the naked bikes share more or less the similar type of styling and other technical features starting with the well-built muscular 12 litre fuel tank to the sporty tail lights. These two street fighters are rolled out with almost the same type of 100/80-17 front tyres and 140/60R-17 rear tyres combined with the Matt-black alloy wheels. The FZ V2.0 has a well exposed engine cabin compared to that of the Gixxer. The chassis of the FZ is solid as that of its predecessor. As usual the FZ has the telescopic front forks and a squashy mono-cross suspension for a smooth ride. The braking system comprises of the 267mm disc brake at the front and a simple 130mm drum brake at the back. The FZ's instrument cluster looks refreshing with a new style which comes with an choice of three black lights. The Gixxer has a pretty packed look at its engine cabin with a strong chassis aimed for great maneuverability. The same story as that of FZ is followed here in case of the suspension system. The braking system is made up of 240mm front disc brake and the similar type of 130mm drum brake. The Gixxer is equipped with a generously styled instrument cluster that looks clean and futuristic with a gear indicator in it. The FZ V2.0 feels sporty with a split seat at a ride height of 790mm and the Gixxer has an ordinary seat at 780mm from the ground.ConclusionThese two rides give a tough fight with one another and are stunning with their wonderful features in store. The best part about Yamaha is that they offer a good after sale service but for the Suzuki with a new hope, its bit tough to catch up with the customers due to the lack of concentration in the Indian market all these years. All together these two street kings make a perfect clash of titans in the Indian bike market.
